BTS’s V dominates global charts with self-composed songs

BTS member V is dominating global charts with his self-composed songs.

On August 28, V officially released three self-composed songs, “Winter Bear,” “Snow Flower,” and “Scenery.” The songs were previously available only on SoundCloud and YouTube. Immediately after the release, the songs topped various music charts.

As of 9 p.m. on August 29, “Winter Bear” topped iTunes’ “Top Song” chart in 45 countries including Japan, France, and Finland. “Snow Flower,” which was released in 2020 to celebrate Christmas, also topped iTunes’ “Top Song” chart in 37 countries, including Sweden, Greece, and Turkey. “Scenery,” which was released in 2019, also topped iTunes’ “Top Song” chart in 21 countries, including Singapore, and Vietnam.

V will release his first solo album “Layover” on September 8 at 1 p.m. The album will be consisted of 6 tracks, including title track “Snow Dancing”, as well as “Rainy Days,” “Blue,” and “Love Me Again.”
