Stray Kids claims No. 1 on Billboard for 3rd time

Stray Kids has achieved No. 1 on U.S. Billboard’s main albums chart for the third time with their latest album.

On June 12, Billboard announced that Stray Kids’ third studio album “5-Star” debuted atop the chart. This made the group the second K-pop group to record more than two No. 1 on the chart after BTS.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S., measured by equivalent album units comprising physical album sales and other digital sales records.

Of “5-Star’s 249,500 equivalent album units earned, album sales comprise 235,000, streaming equivalent albums (SEA) units comprise 14,000 and track equivalent albums (TEA) units comprise 500.
