“The Roundup” surpasses 3 million admissions in 5 days

The film “The Roundup” surpassed 3 million cumulative viewers Sunday, five days after its release.

According to its distributor ABO Entertainment, the action comedy attracted 3 million viewers as of 11:50 a.m. on Sunday.

The sequel to the 2017 hit movie “The Outlaws” attracted 1 million viewers two days after its release, 2 million in 4 days and 3 million in five days. It is the biggest score in the past three years for a domestic film. 

“The Roundup” tells the story of Detective Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok) heading to Vietnam to extradite a suspect only to find out about additional murder cases involving an unknown killer.
