BTS just made history!

BTS’s latest single “Dynamite” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on Monday.

On September 1, Billboard reported that BTS’s “Dynamite” has topped its Hot 100 chart. The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming, radio airplay and sales data.

BTS is the first South Korean artist ever to do so. Previously, the highest-charting South Korean artist ever on the Hot 100 was PSY with his “Gangnam Style,” which peaked at the No. 2 spot in 2012.

“Dynamite” is the group’s digital single released on August 21.
