Kang Seung-yoon thanks fans for support during his “Mask King” reign

WINNER’s leader Kang Seung-yoon has become the youngest “Mask King” winner with his legendary performances. He won the competition for the 6th time in a row, becoming the first idol to do so. Before Seung-yoon, the idol who won this competition the most was Super Junior’s Kyu-hyun, who has 5 crowns on the show.

On May 25, Kang Seung-yoon revealed his thoughts through his agency YG Entertainment, saying, “I was proud to show my charm as a solo vocalist rather than WINNER’s member which is more familiar to the public. I felt a little burden to perform on the stage with a single voice, but I was happy to sing freely regardless of genre and singing method.”

“I will try to be a unique artist whose next step is anticipated. As you have shown love for Cho Yun Fat, I ask for your support for Kang Seung-yoon as well in the future. I express my gratitude to my fans Inner Circle who have shown a lot of support,” he said.
