Super Junior’s agency denied rumors of Kim Hee-chul’s withdrawal from the group.

On March 17, a source from Super Junior’s agency Label SJ said, “Although Kim Hee-chul cannot perform on stage, he is participating in albums and other content as usual.”

On the March 16th episode of JTBC’s “7.7 Billion in Love,” Kim Hee-chul said, “In a way, I’m out.” The way the scene in the show was edited made it appear as if Kim Hee-chul was saying he had left Super Junior. The source said, “The way the scene in the show was edited left room for misunderstanding. He did not mention even ‘withdrawal’ in the show.”

During the show, Kim Hee-chul said, “14 years ago, I had a big accident and my left leg was all broken. But I continued stage activities and concerts even when I wasn’t able to jump anymore. Then about six or seven years ago, my leg became so bad that I went to see a doctor. They told me I may not walk anymore. I didn’t want to cause harm to my team. In a way, I’m out right now.”
