Big Hit Entertainment has denied BTS member Jungkook’s dating rumors.

On September 17, the BTS’ management agency released a statement and said, “Big Hit Entertainment clearly states that the rumors about our artist Jungkook that are being spread on social media and online communities are not true.”

“While in Geoje Island during his vacation, he found out that his acquaintances from a tattoo shop were also visiting the area. He then met with his tattoo shop acquaintances and other acquaintances from Geoje Island for a meal and went to karaoke. This is the truth that has been distorted.”

Earlier in the day, photos of a man hugging a woman surfaced on online communities, and netizens claimed the man as Jungkook and the woman as a tattooist.

“After verifying whether CCTV footage was leaked or if there was illegal filming, we will take strong legal action against the disclosure of personal information and invasion of privacy. We will also take legal action against the spread of false rumors,” the agency said.

Meanwhile, BTS recently announced the end of their official vacation.
