The Cannes-crowned “Parasite” surpassed a cumulative 3.5 million admissions on the fifth day of its run, crossing its break-even point.

The film sold 3.74 million tickets from Thursday to Monday, winning the first place on the box office as well as crossing its break-event point of 3.5 million viewers, according to the data from the Korean Film Council (KOFIC).
