Former SECHSKIES member Kang Sung-hoon has been caught bad-mouthing present-day idols.

On May 12, a video clip entitled, “Kang Sung-hoon bad-mouthing,” was uploaded on an online community board.

In the video, he is seen sitting on a picnic table, and he talks about how he wanted to get taller, drawing laughter from his fans.

Then he starts to talk about present-day idol members. “I think idols these days are really ugly. When I see them hair salons, they’re so ugly. Their skin is terrible. I can’t point out specifically, but there hasn’t been a single good-looking idol since TVXQ.”

When one of his fans asked him about BTOB, he said, “How could I say it’s them right now? If I become a producer for idol groups, I’m going to choose the members based on their looks. Don’t you think they should be handsome to become celebrities? They should have nice skins and some aura.”

The video left many K-pop fans who watched the video in shock. They left comments like, “Before talking about someone else’s looks, you need to think about what you are thinking and saying,” “He is so disappointing,” and more.
