Singer Baek Ji-young will be proceeding with her upcoming concert as planned amidst news that her husband Jung Suk-won has been arrested for drug use.

On February 9, Baek Ji-young's agency Music Works Entertainment told AsiaToday, "We will proceed with Baek Ji-young's concert scheduled for tomorrow as planned."

The agency said, "The concert was previously canceled due to Baek Ji-young's pregnancy in 2016. If we cancel the concert once again, we would be breaking the promise with the audience, so the concert will go on as planned."

Earlier, Jung Suk-won was arrested at Incheon International Airport upon his arrival from Australia on Thursday. According to the police, the actor consumed Philopon with his friends in a club in Melbourne, Australia, early this month. He reportedly admitted to a part of the charges.

Meanwhile, Baek Ji-young will hold her solo concert "WELCOME-BAEK" at Olympic Hall in Seoul on Saturday.
