“Produce 101 Season 2” trainee group “JBJ” to release debut album on October 18

Produce 101 Season 2's JBJ will be gearing up for a debut! The group will be consisted of Takada Kenta, Kim Yong-guk, Kim Sang-gyun, Noh Tae-hyun, Kim Dong-han, and Kwon Hyun-bin.

On August 29, an official from JBJ revealed that the agencies of all six members have confirmed to officially carry out group activities under the name "JBJ", starting on Wednesday after having discussions.

As a result, JBJ will launch its own reality program in September through Mnet M2 as its first official group activity. The group is scheduled to release an album on October 18. Based on the support of all six agencies, Loen Entertainment and CJ E&M will make cooperative investment. Fave Entertainment, a label under Loen Entertainment, will be in charge of general management while CJ E&M will be responsible for production and marketing.

JBJ added that they will wait for the final results with agency Major Nine in relation to Kim Tae-dong's issue. Previously, Produce 101 Season 2's trainee Kim Tae-dong requested to cancel his exclusive contract with the Vibe Label because the label was treating him unfairly.
