Actress Ha Ji-won confirmed to star in a film by acclaimed Hong Kong director John Woo.
The actress, who is currently attending Shanghai Movie Festival 2016, said during a gala dinner hosted by Media Asia Group on Saturday that her next film project would be "Manhunt" directed by John Woo.
She said, "It's like a dream come true to be able to work with highly respected director John Woo. It's an honor to me."
"Manhunt" is a remake based on a novel by Japanese writer Juko Nishimura. The story follows a prosecutor framed for rape, murder and robbery who sets out to clear his name.
Ha Ji-won will play a female assassin in the flick.
