Actor Park Bo-gum responded to couple ring speculation.


On February 15, Park Bo-gum attended a fan signing event for tvN's "Reply 1988" together with his fellow cast members Hyeri, Ryoo Jooon-yeol, Go Gyung-pyo, Lee Dong-hwi, Choi Sung-won, Ryoo Hye-young, Lee Min-ji, and Lee Sae-young at a high school in Ssangmoon-dong, Seoul.


The event was held to celebrate the drama's viewership rating that surpassed 18 percent. The cast members previously made a pledge to hold a fan signing event if their drama hit 18 percent for viewership rating.
 
He took fans' and reporters' attention by wearing a ring on his left ring finger.


In response, his agency explained, "It's not a couple ring, but a sponsored item from a jewelry company."
