By Ha Man-joo, India correspondent, AsiaToday - "My advice to you is to 'Make India' your centre, if you want this century to be your century."

At the 'Make in India Week', an expo showcasing India's manufacturing capabilities at Mumbai's MMRDA grounds, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said, "I have been saying that this century is Asia's century. This is the best time to be in India, even better to 'Make in India'. Don't wait, don't relax."

Before his speech, PM Modi made a visit to KOREA Pavilion at Mubai's Badra Kurla Complex, where the 'Make in India' week expo is on. After listening to Korean Ambassador to India Cho Hyun's explanation, Modi said, "I'm well aware that Korea is contributing to 'Make in India'. I appreciate it. I'm looking forward to more investment from Korea."

PM Modi, who is one of the finest orators with well known catchwords such as 'Make in India', 'Digital India', 'Clean India', and 'Start Up India', made another impressive speech at NSCI in Mumbai. As always, he knew how to deliver his message to his people and to the world.

PM Modi described his economic initiatives with a feast of statistics. He said India is one of the most open countries for foreign direct investment (FDI), which increased 48% since his government came to power in May 2014. He further said that India contributed 12.5% to global growth.

Promising tax reform and deregulation, he said, "India is blessed with 3 'Ds', Democracy, Demography and Demand, to this we have added another D, Deregulation."

He also highlighted the Start Up India initiative, saying, "We want our youth to become job creators instead of job seekers. This is why we planned Smart Up India."

Nothing that "youthful energy" with 65% of the population being under 35 is "our greatest strength," Modi said India launched the Make in India campaign a year ago to create employment, self-employment opportunities for youth.
