Lee Jung-jae fulfills “Assassination” pledge by giving out free hugs

On August 7, actor Lee Jung-jae carried on his free hug event celebrating his movie reaching 8.15 million tickets at Lotte World Tour in Jamsil, Seoul.


At a showcase for "Assassination" on July 7, the actor pledged to give out free hugs if his film "Assassination" surpasses 5 million in ticket sales. Actress Jun Ji-hyun also pledged to donate boxed lunches to charity.


Starring Jun Ji-hyun, Ha Jung-woo, and Lee Jung-jae, "Assassination" is set in colonial Shanghai and Seoul in 1933, and is the story of a independence fighter, a nationalist government agent, and a hit man who are planning an assassination.
