Be Funny Studios reveals Lee Byugn-hun X Diddy project

'Rush Hour' has met 'Face Off' and actor Lee Byung-hun met hip hop master Diddy.


On April 27, Be Funny Studios released a new video titled 'Rush Hour 4 x Face Off 2' through its official website. This video was a parody of the two popular movies, and is collaborated by Be Funny Studios in Korea and Funny or Die in the United States.


What's most catching the eyes about this new video is the combination of Lee Byung-hun and well-known hip hop master Diddy.


Be Funny Studios rep said, "The two stars met together as Funny or Die and Be Funny Studios collaborated for this parody project. The producers in the U.S. and Diddy, who had expressed a lot of interest in this project, thought of Lee Byung-hun as the perfect Asian star for the parody."


The video is about two detectives partner up to save the ambassador's daughter with a twist of changing their faces.


Be Funny Studios CEO Lee Won-bum said, "We wanted to show something where a Western and Eastern super stars have a great time together on screen. We hope it also becomes an opportunity to spread hallyu. We plan to make more collaborations featuring Korean actors and Hollywood stars so please look forward to our next projects."


Meanwhile, Funny or Die is a comedy contents platform in the United States, and makes really funny videos that feature comedians and celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Anne Hathaway, Sean Penn, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Kevin Spacey, and even President Barack Obama.
