Luc Besson has spoken highly of an actor, Choi Min Sik who starred in his film Lucy


On 20, Luc Besson stated at the press conference for the film Lucy that was taking place at Yongsan CGV, Seoul, “Choi Min Sik has become the most power player in Korean film world with his recent movie, The Battle of Myeungnyang. Starring Choi Min Sik, Lucy has gone for the number one in the world box offices, which makes him who gains popularity all over the world. Please let’s send him off a big hand for him proudly.”


“Personally I would like to work with him once again,” added by the director, showing his affection to hm.     
He also stated, “There are so many film manias in France. France is also a country that has attachment for Korean film. You see many Korean directors have been invited to the Festival de Canne. I’m very glad that the two countries can interchange through the movie Lucy. I’ve learned a lot not only from Choi Min Sik but also from other cast and the crew.” 


Film Lucy portrays a story of a leading character Lucy(Scarlett Johanson) who used to enjoy her ordinary life who has become be able to control her body and brain, acquiring incredibly powerful physical and mental capabilities. It has become issues as a Hollywood debut film of Choi Min Sik. It is released on the coming September 4.
