EXO‘s Kris files lawsuit to terminate his contract with SM

EXO's Chinese member Kris has filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to terminate his contract with the agency.


On May 15, the Seoul Central District Court confirmed that Kris has filed a lawsuit and the law firm Hankyul will be handling the contract termination lawsuit.


In response, SM said, "We are verifying details about the case. We will do our best so that EXO can carry on its activity well."


EXO debuted in 2012 and became one of the hottest idol group selling 1,000,000 copies of their first album in Korea. Currently, they are busy promoting in both Korea and China with mini album "Overdose."
